Premium Materials
High-strength ribbed rebar (28mm) has been used in the structural carrier system of the project.
This choice not only exceeds regulatory standards by providing additional load-bearing capacity, but also adds long-term structural stability and safety. At Moda Beykoz, no compromises were made on quality at any stage.

Superior Performance, Zero Risk in Insulation
High-durability bituminous membranes were used in the sub-foundation waterproofing system.
Overlap points were carefully welded to ensure complete impermeability, protecting the structure against moisture and water infiltration for many years.
Hydrophilic Waterstop Strip: A Reliable Solution for Cold Joints
One of the most common issues encountered on construction sites is water leakage through cold joints.
One of the most effective ways to eliminate this risk is the application of a hydrophilic (expanding) waterstop strip. When in contact with water, these strips expand several times their original volume, mechanically filling gaps and preventing water penetration. They deliver high performance especially in wall–foundation connections, pipe penetrations, and joint details, contributing to long-term protection of the structure.


A Quality-Driven Approach to Drainage, Insulation & Bituminous Waterproofing
In the project, maximum importance was given to foundation wall insulation and waterproofing, with every detail meticulously executed in line with project standards. To ensure protection against groundwater, drainage and insulation systems were planned in an integrated manner, resulting in a durable and secure long-term solution.
Bituminous Coating Waterproofing: Applied in two layers over the foundation walls, with chamfer bands used at horizontal and vertical intersections to enhance impermeability. After application, the curing period was observed, and a protective layer was added to prevent damage.
Drainage Pipe: Installed at the correct level and slope around the foundation to safely direct surface and groundwater away from the structure.
Drainage Board (Dimpled/Molded Sheet): Applied to protect the bituminous waterproofing from external impacts and enhance drainage performance.
XPS Insulation Boards: Placed on the exterior face of the foundation walls to prevent thermal bridging and ensure effective heat insulation.
Gravel Backfill: High-quality graded gravel was used to support efficient drainage, combined with geotextile separation to maintain system integrity.
Result:
Thanks to these applications, the structure is fully safeguarded against moisture and groundwater risks. By addressing both heat and water insulation together, complete system integrity was achieved, providing a durable and long-lasting waterproofing solution with bituminous coating.

Periodic Health Examinations: All staff undergo health checks at hiring and at regular intervals, and work is suspended in case of noncompliance.

OHS Meetings: Weekly and monthly meetings are held to assess risks and implement preventive actions.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Mandatory for all, with continuous on-site inspections ensuring compliance.

Risk Assessments & Emergency Plans: Conducted before every application to identify hazards and implement necessary precautions.

Training: All personnel undergo OHS training before starting work and at regular intervals thereafter.

Site Inspections: Daily inspections ensure both worker safety and consistent application quality.

Exceptional Concrete Strength: 32 MPa
The C30 concrete used in the project reached an impressive 32 MPa strength in 7-day tests, far exceeding the expected 15 MPa benchmark. This remarkable performance demonstrates not only the superior quality of the materials but also our disciplined workmanship and strict curing practices.
This project stands out as a model structure thanks to attention to detail, careful material selection, superior workmanship, and a rigorous approach to occupational safety.
